About Us

The American- Tajik BusinessCouncil was founded by members of Tethys Petroleum, an oil and gas exploration and production company operating in central Asia, and TALCO, the largest aluminum exporter in Tajikistan.  These companies, and others currently operating in Tajikistan had a vision to bring business together and provide a forum that would help develop longstanding  relations between North America and Tajikistan.  By hosting two yearly conferences in Tajikistan and the United States the Council hopes to accomplish their main objective of supporting and giving opportunity to current and new business growth by connecting interested companies and parties.  The American Tajik Business Council has created a platform to conduct commerce between these two nations by improving business investments in Tajikistan, as well as bringing general awareness of prominent Tajik businesses.
